Nathan is a consultant ophthalmologist, obtaining his RANZCO fellowship in 2018. Upon successful completion of accredited training through the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, he was appointed as the hospital’s chief registrar for 2017 and subsequently worked 18 months in NHS England at the Bristol Eye Hospital, as an overseas fellow in their corneal department from 2018 to 2019. Returning back to Melbourne with his young family, he completed a further second fellowship at RVEEH as a corneal subspecialist. He also holds a certificate in laser and refractive surgery through the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, UK.
Nathan is passionate about providing personalised holistic care and excellent results to all of his patients. From August 2020, he will continue working in the public sector at Eye and Ear and Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he trained as a junior doctor from 2010 to 2012. After a decade of postgraduate medical and surgical training, he is confident and able to provide expert care, contributing back to the Melbourne community.
